What is a Cookie?

What different types of cookies we use?
1.-Depending on who manages them:
First-party cookies: which are set by the web server of the visited page and share the same domain.
Third-party cookies: stored by a different domain to the visited page’s domain. This different domain is not managed by us but for collaborating entities such as Google Analytics.
2.-Depending on their lifespan:
Session cookies: which are erased when the user closes the browser.
Persistent cookies: which remain on the user’s computer/device and our Web reads them every time a new visit is made. These cookies stop working after a pre-defined period of time.
3.–Depending on their purpose:
Technical cookies: are those that improve browsing and functioning of our Web.
Personalization cookies: are those that allow access to the service with predefined features based on a series of criteria. They are used, for example, to choose the language of the Web.
Analysis cookies: are those that allow to measure and analyze statistically the use made of the service provided. They are used, for example, to know who visits the Web.
