REACH
REACH is a regulation of the European Union that aims to improve the protection of human health and the environment against the risks that can present some chemical products, while enhancing the competitiveness of the chemical industry within the European Union. The Regulation also encourages alternative methods for hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests carried out on animals. We have registered the following chemical substances: sulfated castor oil, sodium salt (EC 269-123-7 CAS 68187-76-8), paraffin waxes and hydrocarbon waxes, chlorine, etc. (EC 939-314-6 CAS 1469983-39-8) and sulphated vegetable oils ammonium salt (EC 293-411-1 CAS 91079-24-2).

Quimser, S.A. is a subscribed chemical supplier of the Leather Working Group (LWG). LWG is a multi-stakeholder group interested in the leather industry including brands, manufacturers, supplier, NGOs and end users which objective is to develop and maintain a protocol that assesses the environmental compliance and performance capabilities of leather manufacturers and promotes sustainable environmental practices.
